FISHING CLUB AND BRIDLE PATH COMMITTEE WILL BE HONORED
CELEBRATING OUR LAKES AND OUR PEOPLE
The LMCC Fishing Club will be recognized with the Foundation’s Organizational Leadership Award to be presented on November 22. The Fishing Club, a newly formed club in LMCC, is led by Tom Brzezinski, Chad Reid and Brian Romanowsky. These volunteers actively work with the Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation to improve our Lakes for family activities.
This past spring the fishing club organized a 50/50 raffle in support of the Foundation. Proceeds totaled $1035.50. Last year the club was awarded a grant from the Foundation and took charge of restocking stripers in Lake Mohawk.
The LMCC Bridle Path Committee will be recognized with the Foundation’s Volunteer Action Award for participating in the yearly Lake Mohawk Celebrates Earth Day Cleanups. The Bridle Path Committee, led by Mark Wooley LMCC Board of Trustee member, has been committed to recruiting volunteers for beach, trail and road cleanups and provides support to the Foundation’s efforts on Earth Day. The Bridle Path Committee has cleaned up, marked and maintained the Bridle Paths around our lakes.
