The Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation, with the help of our community, helped celebrate Earth Day by beautifying our neighborhood and preventing waste from entering our lakes during spring and summer rains.

We kicked off the event at 8:30 AM on Saturday, April 23, with all our supplies, including gloves, trash bags, and vests, given out to our volunteers who chose a location for clean-up or picked a location in their neighborhood.

It was a fantastic event, and we are grateful for all the volunteers who showed up to beautify our lake.
