Kathy is a nine-year cancer survivor. She has contributed to many fundraisers for battling the disease, including The American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Organization Leadership Award: Balanced Rock Beach (Beach 6)

The Organization Leadership Award this year will be awarded to Balanced Rock Beach (Beach 6)
Noted as one of the most popular beaches on the lake, the officers of this beach plan extensive events each season that is open to the community. In their charitable outlook, this beach donates profits from these events to community members who have experienced hardships of one kind or another. Over the years they have substantially assisted over 10 individuals.
Recently they supported the Foundation in allowing a Demonstration Rain Garden to be installed there. They did all the prep required for the garden and even made a financial contribution to LMPF. Their generosity is appreciated.
Become a Sponsor
Sponsorships are needed to help underwrite the costs of this event and to support the Foundation’s goals. Contributions not only go toward improving the water quality through science and technology but also to educate our community on how we can all do our part. Contributions are tax-deductible as we are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization.
The primary goal of the Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation is to study and implement methods to improve the water quality of Lake Mohawk and the Wallkill River watershed. To achieve this goal, the foundation shares information with organizations and the public that benefits our bodies of water and helps preserve and improve our water quality. We provide grants and scholarships yearly.
It would be our honor to recognize all of our contributors before and during this LMPF Annual Recognition Celebration. Please consider a sponsorship that will help to protect our beautiful surroundings we all love and enjoy.
