On Saturday, 9/17, starting at 8:30 AM, we will be kicking off our 3rd annual LMPF Fall Cleanup. Come get involved, get the kids out, drink some pumpkin spice, and experience a sense of community as we continue to clean up Lake Mohawk for the upcoming fall and winter season!
Locations will be available that day and you can pick and choose either the area you live in or a new area if you’re feeling adventurous! Certain locations signify the areas that require the heaviest attention for cleanup, which will be marked in red on our maps.
All supplies, including gloves, trash bags, vests, and recycling bags will be given out on Saturday morning from 8:30 AM – 12 pm. You will find us under a tent in the Lake Mohawk Country Club parking lot with coffee, cliff bars, and celebratory gifts (custom-made LMPF beanies) yet again, for all volunteers.
So, bring the family, bring a friend, come alone, wear a mask (mandatory around our tent area, optional during your individual clean-up), and let’s keep Lake Mohawk beautiful!
Our fall cleanup event runs from 8:30-12 pm, but also feel free to hang out afterward for some conversation about our lake and the Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation.
