LAKE MOHAWK PRESERVATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 2023-2024 is Now Open

The Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization focused on improving and preserving lake water quality now and for future generations. Our aspirations, visions, and project priorities focus on initiatives to attract volunteer support and contributions from LMCC members, private individuals, foundations, businesses, and others interested in Lake Mohawk and the greater Wallkill River Watershed ecology.

Our foundation is focused on seven priorities:

We are pleased to announce four $1,000 scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year. The scholarship is open to all high school seniors graduating from the following schools:

      • Lenape Valley Regional High School
      • Pope John Regional High School
      • Sparta High School
      • Sussex County Technical School

LMPF scholarship applications must be submitted by April 1, 2023.

The Foundation Board will announce recipients in May 2023.

Requirements

1. Enrollment: F/T or P/T into college.

2. Must be planning to study a Natural Science, Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, or related major.

3. Must have an interest in improving the environment, as demonstrated in a personal statement. A personal statement is required to accompany this application.
